Spring 2010 Admission (semester begins January 12, 2010)

Summer 2009 Admission (unlike our traditional 16-week fall and spring sesmesters our summer sessions vary in length and have various start dates)

Final Deadline: First day of classes
Fall 2010 Admission (semester begins August 24, 2010)
- Early Action Deadline: January 15, 2010
This is a priority deadline for admission. This is a final deadline for freshman scholarships. Incoming freshman interested in NKU scholarships must apply both admission and scholarship by this deadline. (Unlike Early Decision, this option is non-binding. You may apply to other schools.)
- Assured Consideration Deadline: May 1, 2010
Students applying after this deadline run the risk of not being admitted if NKU reaches capacity for new freshmen or transfer students. You could be placed on a waiting list, deferred to a subsequent semester or denied admission.
- Financial Aid Priority Deadline: March 1, 2010
The FAFSA is available after January 1 every year.
- Campus Housing Deadline: May 1, 2010
NKU may require students with two or more deficiencies to supply an essay, letters of recommendation and an activities portfolio before an admission decision can be rendered. You will be contacted by the Office of Admissions if these materials are required for your application.
