Black & Gold Days (for all students)
NKU's Open  House program, we hold two every fall!  Talk with faculty.  Meet current students.  Tour campus.  Get the facts and a taste of campus life!   

Department Showcases (for specific interests)
NKU hosts several Showcase events that highlight select departments and majors. At our Showcase events you and your parents can enjoy a day on campus learning more about NKU. Hear about scholarship opportunities and discover how different majors can prepare you to be successful in various careers.

Spring programming

Sophomore Showcase (for high school sophomores and their families)
This program is designed for students and their families who are just beginning the college search process.  The program will help you learn important steps to prepare for the college search  process, hear about NKU and the most in demand majors and careers, visit with students, and enjoy lunch on campus.

Spring Open House (for all students)
Held on Presidents' Day every year.  The program will include a presentation on admission to NKU, the scholarship and financial aid process, followed by lunch on campus with faculty and staff from all departments, and a student guided campus and housing tour.  There's nothing we won't cover on this visit!

Accepted Student Programs (for accepted students only)
Need a little help making your final college decision? Wondering how you’ll fit in at NKU?  If so, you are invited to attend an accepted student program. This event is for admitted freshmen and their parents who want to learn more about NKU. We host several programs, from fun to educational. Accepted students will receive exclusive invites to these programs. So watch you inbox and mailbox every spring for a program to attend!


Summer Programming

Welcome Wednesdays: (for students going into their senior year)
This program is designed just for 2016 graduates.  Plan to visit our campus during your summer break and bring your parents along to learn more about NKU.  You will have lunch with faculty, meet current students and tour our modern campus.  Programs are offered on select Wednesdays from June through August.

Multicultural Law Academy
The Multicultural Law Academy includes a mock trial demonstration, a presentation on admission and scholarships,  lunch with NKU faculty, and a student-guided walking tour of campus.

This event is designed to encourage racially and ethnically diverse students to discover career opportunities in law and choose a path in undergraduate school to help them succeed.


Spanish Norse Day Visit: Sesión informativa en español
Visita el campus universitario y conozca más sobre la vida universitaria en NKU. Este programa consiste de una presentación EN ESPAÑOL sobre nuestra oferta académica, requisitos de admisión, oportunidades de becas, ayuda financiera, servicios de apoyo para los estudiantes, e información acerca de la oficina de Programas y Servicios a Estudiantes Latinos. ¿Primera vez que visita NKU? Aproveche un recorrido por nuestro moderno campus impartido por estudiantes bilingües (opcional), La visita dura aproximadamente 2 1/2 horas.

Ofrecemos una sesión informativa en español en el semestre de otoño y otra en primavera.

This is an opportunity for Latino high school students and their parents to visit campus and learn more about college life at NKU. This program consists of an information session IN SPANISH about our academic offerings, admissions, scholarship opportunities, financial aid, student support services, and highlights from our office of Latino Programs and Services. Is this your first time on campus? Take a walking tour of our modern campus with our bilingual students (optional).The visit lasts approximately 2 ½ hours.

We offer a Spanish Norse Day in the fall semester and another one in the spring.
