College Doesn't Have to Cost a Fortune
Your education is an investment, and NKU offers plenty of financial aid options. More than 70 percent of our students receive financial aid, including loans, grants, scholarships and work study opportunities. Financial aid helps cover the cost of tuition, room & board and even books. Here at NKU we prove that a college education doesn’t have to break the bank!
Northern Kentucky University offers affordable public university tuition, with the benefits you would expect from a private university. For instance, NKU has small classes, with a low student/faculty ratio to provide you with the personal attention you richly deserve. We know that higher tuition rates do not mean you’re getting a better education.
Many students choose to attend college near Cincinnati because the location has great entertainment options and internship opportunities. But most don’t realize that tuition rates for four-year universities in the area range from $8,500 to $20,000 per year. Northern Kentucky University remains the best educational value in the region. In fact, coming out-of-state to NKU is often more affordable than attending school in your home state.
